Plastic bottles: why is it better not to reuse them?

You may be tempted to fill up your plastic water bottle with all this heat. According to nutritionists, this gesture should be avoided.

It is enticing, if not obvious, to reuse your water bottle when you're at the beach, in a park, or in the forest. a behavior that is environmentally friendly but studies show to be unhealthy for your health.

With heat, chemical compounds degrade in water

It is a known fact that bottled water contains a large number of microplastics. However, the process of molecular exchanges is multiplied by ten during hotter periods. Chemical leaching occurs when the chemicals in the plastic bottle mix with the liquid more quickly.

In a Chinese study, water bottles were kept for four weeks at temperatures as high as 158 degrees Fahrenheit (74 degrees) to illustrate the impact of heat on PET water bottles (the plastic most frequently used to make disposable water bottles.

BPA and antimony, a carcinogen similar to arsenic, had consequently gradually increased in concentrations.

"Raising the temperature of PET by 10°C is equivalent to multiplying by three the contact time between plastic and water"

Additionally, the water's quality will only decline after the bottle is opened.

Another issue is the growth of bacteria inside the bottle over time. Indeed, the germs spread quickly when you open it and reseal it. The same holds true when the mouth makes contact with the neck.

And in this case, strong heat is not necessary because even a drink that is left at room temperature can become infected.

The nutritionist  says that drinking tap water stored in a stainless steel or glass gourd is the best choice for staying hydrated risk-free because "bottled water is not spared contaminants.

The expert also discourages using the water purifier or filter jug because it might contain potentially harmful silver nanoparticles. These would, in fact, inhibit the growth and reproduction of both aquatic and terrestrial organisms while promoting their mortality.

Your risk of breast cancer could go up to 20% if you consume these foods.

If you are a woman who has passed menopause and your diet consists of unhealthy, highly processed foods, potatoes, sweet drinks, and refined grains devoid of fiber and essential nutrients, you may develop breast cancer.

French researchers claim that certain lifestyle factors can raise your risk of breast cancer even if you do not genetically carry the disease's associated mutations.

The majority of people underestimate the impact of their lifestyle and diet on their health. New evidence suggests that our daily diet is a major determinant of whether we contract serious diseases such as breast cancer.

The team led by Sanama Shah, a doctoral student at Paris-Saclay University, analyzed the data of over 65,000 individuals. women aged 40 to 65 who have participated in the Etude Epidémiologique aux femmes de la Mutuelle Générale de l'Education Nationale study for more than 20 years . Nearly 4,000 individuals were registered at that time. occurrences of breast cancer. The focus of research has been on determining how plant-based diets affect this disease risk in postmenopausal women.

Researchers discovered that those with the healthiest diets were less likely to develop breast cancer. What was thought to be the optimal diet for reducing the risk of this cancer? At the most recent meeting of the American Society for Nutrition, the researchers' conclusions were presented in detail.

Researchers discovered that plant-based diets can vary substantially in terms of the nutritional value of the foods consumed, so they classified them as either healthier or less healthy.

Even if they occasionally consumed animal-based foods, women who regularly consumed a healthy, predominantly plant-based diet were 14 percent less likely to develop breast cancer.

Women who regularly ate less healthy foods, such as desserts, fruit juices, and potatoes, on the other hand, had a 20% higher risk of developing breast cancer.

In both instances, such a diet may contain animal products, according to the author of a recent study. According to her, eating a healthy plant-based diet without giving up meat or animal products entirely and avoiding unhealthy, highly processed foods is beneficial to the body and can prevent the development of all types of breast cancer in postmenopausal women.

Don't go outside in hot weather. Overheating the body can be very serious

Doctors warn against hyperthermia, or excessive body heat. When heat builds up in the body, the body's natural ability to cool down through perspiration is greatly reduced.

Doctors stressed that avoiding sun exposure is the best way to protect against high temperatures.

Overheating of the body. Causes, symptoms, effects

Overexposure to the sun for an extended period of time causes the body to overheat. Clothing that is too tight, windproof, or warm has a disadvantage as well. People who take antihistamines, diuretics, antidepressants and vasodilators, the elderly and children are particularly vulnerable.

Obese people, as well as those with diabetes, heart disease, or hyperthyroidism, are particularly vulnerable.

It is worth emphasizing that the symptoms of overheating of the body may appear even several hours after exposure to the sun. The main signs of hyperthermia are:

  • very warm and dry skin,
  • skin burns,
  • itchy rash
  • increase in body temperature above 40 degrees Celsius,
  • weakness of the body,
  • headaches and dizziness,
  • flushing of the face
  • swelling of the feet and ankles
  • increased heart rate
  • nausea,
  • heat contractions,
  • disturbances of consciousness,
  • blurred vision,
  • breathing problems,
  • loss of consciousness.

Overheating the body has serious consequences, including heat stroke, which can even lead to coma or death. The effects also include:

  • fever,
  • weakening of immunity,
  • heat exhaustion, i.e. extreme weakness,
  • thermal shock,
  • severe disturbance of consciousness (e.g. hallucinations).

diabetes medicine can help prevent kidney stones from forming

According to research, diabetes medicine can help prevent kidney stones from forming. Empagliflozin, a drug commonly used to treat type 2 diabetes, can help prevent kidney stones from forming.

Gallstones are more common in diabetics than in non-diabetics, which is a well-known fact.

According to one study, Empagliflozin is the most widely prescribed medicine for type 2 diabetes, and it can help prevent kidney stones from forming.

The medicine, also known as Jardiance, was recently presented in the United States during the Endocrine Society's annual meeting.

The medicine is already being used to preserve type 2 diabetes patients' hearts and kidneys.

However, it has recently been shown that this medicine can also be used to treat complex cardiac and renal disorders in these individuals.

It's vital to remember that you can't use this medicine without a doctor's prescription.

More than 15,000 patients with type 2 diabetes were surveyed in this regard.
Furthermore, 20 distinct studies were examined in this regard, with 10177 patients receiving Empagliflozin and 4904 receiving a placebo or a fake drug.
The trial lasted 18 months and found that patients who took Empagliflozin on a regular basis had a 40% lower incidence of kidney stones than those who took alternative medications.

Priyadarshini Bala Subramaniam, a Yale University scholar, and his colleagues conducted the research.

According to this study, it's crucial to understand the scientific basis for Ampagli Fluzin's efficacy, but there's also proof that it helps diabetic patients avoid stone formation.

Patients with arthritis can benefit from walking.

Knee pain patients not only reduce walking pain, but they also lower the risk of bone fractures.

According to Reuters Health, women and men with knee arthritis can minimise their risk of knee fractures by walking on a regular basis.

Although walking is difficult for persons with osteoarthritis, if it becomes a habit, it can significantly lower the risk of knee fractures.

According to research, adults over the age of 50 who embrace the habit of walking can lessen pain while also reducing damage to the bones and cartilage in their knees.

Baylor College of Medicine researchers polled 1,200 patients over the age of 50 who all experienced knee pain, the most common kind of arthritis. Seventy-three percent were used to walking on a regular basis, whereas the remaining 27 percent were not.

Volunteers who walked experienced 40% less discomfort than those who did not. Walking reduced discomfort and stiffness in the joints, which is a common diagnostic indication for knee pain, according to an X-ray of his knee. As a result, walking is extremely beneficial in this sickness.

According to doctors, there is currently no cure for arthritis, and the greatest exercise for this is walking.

Colon cancer has been proven to be prevented by taking aspirin

Another advantage of aspirin, a miracle medicine that has been used for over a century, is that it can help to prevent colon cancer.

Aspirin prevents cancer cells from developing and forces them to die naturally. If some of these cells escape the process, they can develop into tumours and cancer.

The use of aspirin in this process has been demonstrated to be quite beneficial, particularly in gastric and intestinal malignancies, where it can help inhibit cancer cells from spreading.

Dr. Dominic Wooders, a public health specialist at the University of California, Berkeley, explained, "Aspirin inhibits the proliferation of cancer cells and has an effect on their birth rates and deaths." On the one hand, it increases cell death; on the other hand, it stops malignant tumours from spreading.

Another research expert, Natalia Kumarova, believes that aspirin may help prevent cancer cells from becoming sick and detrimental to the body, based on Darwin's theory of evolution. As a result, colon cancer slows down and may even prevent the cell from changing into cancer in the first place. That's why aspirin's position is so intriguing.

Many persons with genetic disorders were enlisted in this study, as they could have been diagnosed with various types of cancer as a result of Lynch syndrome. For two years, they were divided into two groups and given 600 mg of aspirin daily. It was discovered two years later that it could cut the risk of colon cancer by 63%. Other evidence and investigations support this theory.

Experts say they're still trying to figure out what's going on, but it's certainly given aspirin a new benefit.

Apple Fitness Plus: A subscription service will generate $ 3.6 billion in revenue by 2025

The Apple Watch, or rather its watchOS operating system, was one of the highlights of WWDC 2022, which took place at Apple's headquarters (and, of course, online) last week; among other things, we discussed the upcoming news for Fitness Plus, a subscription service launched less than two years ago that gives users more options, features, and, most importantly, video courses to stay in shape according to their own preferences. sport and training level. Analysts at JP Morgan believe the company's future is bright.

Source: Apple

JP Morgan stated in a note to investors that the service has enough features to set it apart from its competitors, and that as a result, it will be able to continue to grow in the near future. This is despite the fact that the enormous push caused by the COVID-19 pandemic is now fading, and we are returning to normalcy, at least in part.

Analysts estimate that the virtual fitness market will nearly double in size by 2021, from $ 6 billion in 2020 to $ 11 billion. At least half of current subscribers are expected to stick to this fitness system, bringing the industry's total revenue to $ 70 billion by 2026.

Fitness Plus has an advantage over the competition because of its deep integration with the Apple ecosystem, both hardware and software. For example, during the training video, the biological data detected in real time by the Apple Watch can be displayed as an overlay, and if the user is an Apple Music subscriber, he can choose a custom playlist as the session's soundtrack.  Fitness Plus also covers a wide range of sports activities, whereas other platforms are more specialized, resulting in a larger pool of potential users.

In conclusion, analysts predict that Fitness Plus will generate $ 3.6 billion in revenue by 2025, compared to $ 300 million in 2021. That said, it is believed that the bulk of the profits will come from the Apple One all-inclusive subscription rather than single-service subscriptions.

The first Apple Watch-enabled fitness service.

  • There are 11 different types of workouts, including HIIT, Yoga, and Strength. And guided meditations.

  • Onscreen real-time metrics, such as your heart rate, will keep you motivated.

  • New workouts every week, from 5 to 45 minutes.

  • Use your watch to walk or run with audio-guided experiences.

Do you want to control your high cholesterol?

Do you want to control your high cholesterol?

Adults have cholesterol problems. Bad diet and genes cause high cholesterol.

It's not enough to change the daily menu to make everything normal. Yes, Proper diet helps.

Depending on the body's needs, the liver (70%) produces a lot of cholesterol.

The rest comes from food. Inadequate diet disturbs these proportions, creating a dangerous excess that can be reduced.

In fact, many with high LDL cholesterol inherited their ancestors' tendency to store it.

They overproduce cholesterol in the liver due to a genetic defect that prevents their tissues from absorbing it. They eat well and are healthy, but atherosclerosis destroys their blood vessels. This can be stopped with them.

1. Relax

People's cholesterol levels drop after a vacation. Rest, relaxation, and good company are healing. Active recreation is the only sure thing, but overcoming stress is very important.

Stress causes high cholesterol, though the mechanism isn't fully understood.

The body produces more fatty acids and glucose when stressed.

The liver increases bad LDL cholesterol. This grows even in people who lose their appetite and don't eat unhealthy fats.  Inflammation begins with torn nerves. These affect blood vessels, accelerating atherosclerosis.

Rewarding yourself for overcoming challenges makes daily stress management easier. You know what pleases you: movies, spas, walks. Remember laughter therapy. Even forced smiles are healthy.

2. Physical activity

Relaxation and exercise should be combined.  You'll get two cholesterol-busters this way. Physical activity oxygenates cells, improves circulation, and burns fat. Cholesterol Effects:

  • LDL goes down

  1. HDL is growing.

In addition, you are losing weight, which is another priceless benefit.

20-60 minutes of daily exercise is recommended for anticholesterol. Aerobics, running, brisk walking, cycling, swimming are moderate-intensity exercises.

3. Weight reduction

Even if you follow a healthy high cholesterol diet and are overweight, it may be hard to get results. The maximum acceptable result for people at risk of cardiovascular disease is 20%. above ideal weight.

Let the doctor set the weight limit.  Ask him about an effective, safe nutritional program.  Even a healthy, very brave person shouldn't try risky Internet diets. It's bad for health.

4. Drugs

The doctor will determine what medications you need based on tests and an interview. Over-the-counter "miracle" drugs can help, but they're not for targeted therapies. Do you "hate chemical poisoning"? Cholesterol poisons you more.

How can we protect our children from obesity?

Spending time in front of the television is one of the worst lifestyle factors that can lead to obesity in children.

This was revealed in a study conducted in Spain.

Finding the causes of obesity in overweight and obese children can help protect them from other diseases in adolescence, such as coronary heart disease and metabolic disorders, according to research from the Hospital Dale Mar Medical Research Institute.

Physical activity, bedtime, television viewing time, vegetarian diet, and the consumption of processed or junk foods were all examined as part of the study.

The findings of the study, which included 1,480 children, were published in the journal Pediatric Obesity.

Parents were asked a variety of questions about their 4-year-old children's lifestyle habits during the study. At the ages of 4 and 7, blood pressure was measured.

Children under the age of four who are less physically active and spend more time in front of the television have a higher risk of body weight gain, obesity, and metabolic syndrome by the age of seven, according to research.

Other children's activities, such as reading, drawing, and solving puzzles, had no effect on body weight, according to the researchers.

According to researchers, when children watch television, they are exposed to numerous advertisements for foods that are harmful to their health, and they may even consume these foods.

These children consume more ultra-processed foods such as pastries, sugary drinks, salt, sugar, and fatty foods.

Excessive consumption of these items at the age of four has been linked to excess body weight at the age of seven, according to research.

According to researchers, watching TV increases the distance from physical activity in children and also affects the scheduled time of sleep and good sleep at this age is essential for controlling body weight in boyhood.

How to get rid of worms from strawberries?

Strawberries are both delicious and nutritious. Do you know anyone who isn't fond of them?  We aren't either. The disadvantage of these fruits may be the presence of small worms. Although eating them is not dangerous or harmful, we would prefer to avoid it, right?

How to quickly get rid of worms from strawberries?

Strawberries should be thoroughly washed and carefully selected to find and remove any insects that may have settled in them.

Add a few tablespoons of salt to a bowl or pot of water. The strawberries should then be dipped in it. Worms, which may have been hiding between the strawberries, should appear on the water's surface after a while. We publish the original video below. Simple and brilliant! What a good idea!

We can eat strawberries without fear of ingesting a stowaway thanks to this trick. They will be quickly scared away by a solution of water and salt. Furthermore, pesticides and other pollutants that water alone cannot handle will be removed.

Brisk walking slows the aging process at the genetic level.

Brisk walking has a variety of health benefits, but it is now known that it can slow the aging process at the genetic level.

Around four million people were surveyed in this one-of-a-kind study in the UK, and it was discovered that the benefits of Brisk Walk exercise in preventing aging and preserving youth are directly expressed in the body's biomarker.

Definitely! You know right from the start that a leak can affect the leukocyte telomere length (LTL). We know that telomeres in our bodies shorten with age, so a newborn baby's telomeres will be slightly longer than those of an older person.

A telomere is a region at the end of a chromosome that contains repetitive DNA sequences.

Telomeres keep the ends of chromosomes from fraying or tangling. Telomeres get a little shorter each time a cell divides. They eventually become so short that the cell is unable to divide successfully and dies.

In collaboration with a number of institutions, scientists at the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom have looked at data from 405,981 people over the medium term. It has been discovered that people who run fast have longer telomeres than others, indicating that they are genetically younger and age more slowly.

Telomeres on the ends of chromosomes in our cells act as a cap, as we know. They're chock-full of non-coding DNA that keeps chromosomes from breaking. In the same way that shoelaces keep shoes from opening or deteriorating, they protect the chromosome.

Telomeres lengthen as a cell divides. That is why LTL is seen as an important genetic sign for aging at the genetic level.

The distribution of telomeres slows as a result of this rapid movement, indicating that we are either young or slowing down aging on a cellular and genetic level. Furthermore, brisk walking or exercise has numerous psychological, physical, mental, and physical advantages.

These individuals were fitted with light movement devices that recorded their walking speed for a period of time. The study discovered that the faster you develop a walking habit, the less likely your telomeres will shorten. As a result, we now have genetic evidence to support rapid youth for the first time.

Unusual symptoms of a heart attack. This is called silent heart attack

A silent heart attack is a life-threatening condition that manifests itself in an unusual way. The majority of people who have it are completely unaware of it. How can you tell if you're having a silent heart attack, and why shouldn't you ignore the signs?

Myocardial infarction occurs when there is insufficient blood flow to the heart muscle, resulting in a lack of oxygen and nutrients. The heart is ischemic then. When there isn't enough oxygen in the heart, it starts to die. A heart attack can result in permanent damage and even death if blood flow is not restored quickly.

A burning, pressing, pressing pain in the chest that may radiate to the neck, jaw, shoulders, arms, or even the upper abdomen is the most common symptom of a heart attack.

A fast heartbeat and disorientation are also present. These kinds of symptoms necessitate contacting an ambulance service right away. If assistance is provided too late, the patient may die.

Symptoms of a silent infarction

Heart attack symptoms, on the other hand, do not always manifest themselves in such a distinctive and obvious manner. People who have a heart attack sometimes don't feel any pain in their chest and aren't even aware that they are having one. So, how do you know what it is?

Cardiologists advise you to pay attention to persistent dyspnea .

Feeling out of breath during everyday activities, especially if it's the first time, could be a sign of a potentially serious heart condition.

Other symptoms that appear suddenly and without explanation include indigestion, nausea, and vomiting.

In the same way, be wary of unexplained dizziness. Don't hesitate to seek assistance if you notice that what you're seeing is suddenly spinning or if you feel like you're about to pass out.

It's critical to get an ECG and figure out what's causing the irregular heartbeat.

Do not wait to see your cardiologist if you are experiencing any of the symptoms listed above.

Fish oil's healing properties.

Fish oil has a wide range of health benefits. They were discovered only in the 1960s. Fish oil has a positive effect on brain function and strengthens the body's immunity during autumn and winter illnesses due to its high content of unsaturated fatty acids and vitamins A and D.

Tran is an oil concentrate derived from the fresh liver of Atlantic cod or other members of the cod family. The fish oil contains a unique composition of essential unsaturated fatty acids (EFAs) from the omega-3 group - including the most important ones, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) - and omega-6, as well as vitamins A and D, which are essential for the proper functioning of the body, particularly during the period of growth.

Because one capsule of cod liver oil contains an average of 300-1250 IU of vitamin A, two capsules suffice to meet the daily requirement for this vitamin (which is around 800 IU in adults, according to data from II in Warsaw). It's the same with vitamin D3: one capsule of cod liver contains 30-125 IU of the vitamin, whereas the daily requirement is 200 IU.

Almost everyone can benefit from fish oil, particularly those who have a higher need for it, such as children and adolescents in their formative years (adolescence), weakened people, particularly the elderly, sick, and convalescent, as well as people who live a stressful lifestyle, abuse alcohol, or smoke cigarettes.

The fish oil strengthens the immune system

Unsaturated fatty acids from the omega-3 and omega-6 groups give the body the building blocks it needs to make anti-inflammatory hormones that help the immune system function better. Vitamin A, on the other hand, seals and regenerates the mucous membranes, preventing pathogenic microorganisms from penetrating them.

This is especially important during the fall and winter seasons, when the mucosa of the respiratory tract is more susceptible to virus or bacteria contact. Of course, supplementation is only one component of improving immunity; it should be used in conjunction with a healthy diet and regular exercise.

Fish oil and other vitamins, on the other hand, should not be taken while on antibiotic therapy because they support not only the weakened body but also the bacteria and viruses that cause the disease. As a result, fish oil and other vitamins should only be given after antibiotic treatment has ended, as they will only help the body's regeneration process.

Omega-3 unsaturated fatty acids improve the blood supply to the brain and the flow of nerve stimuli between gray and white matter, affecting its formation and functioning. As a result, fish oil is primarily recommended for children to help them develop normally and avoid memory and concentration problems, as well as for the elderly to reduce the risk of Alzheimer's disease and dementia.

Scientists have discovered that a woman who consumes the recommended amount of omega-3 fatty acids during pregnancy has a child who is smarter and larger.

Essential fatty acids found in fish oil lower triglycerides and "bad" cholesterol (LDL) levels in the blood while increasing "good" (HDL) cholesterol levels, reducing blood clotting, preventing blood clots, and thus lowering the risk of coronary heart disease and atherosclerosis. Tran also aids in the control of high blood pressure.

Fish oil, specifically the omega-3 fatty acids found in it, reduces the risk of breast, ovarian, and intestinal cancer, according to research conducted by scientists at the University of California. Fish oil, on the other hand, according to researchers at the Washington Center for Genetics, Nutrition, and Health, can reduce the size and number of tumors as well as their proclivity to metastasize.

Macular degeneration is the most common cause of blindness in adults and the elderly, and vitamin A can help prevent it. Its absence can result in twilight amblyopia, also known as night blindness, conjunctival burning and drying, and even corneal ulceration.

The retina of the eye, in turn, contains omega-3 fatty acids. Children who do not consume fish are thought to be at a higher risk of developing visual impairments. However, a lack of them in a pregnant woman's diet can cause retinopathy (which can lead to blindness) in premature babies.

The calcium-phosphorus balance in the body is influenced by vitamin D, which is found in crude oil. It aids calcium and phosphorus absorption, as well as the proper shaping of the bones and teeth. As a result, it is recommended for children and adolescents in their growth stages. Tran is also used to treat bone calcification disorders and to prevent rickets by stimulating tissue regeneration and slowing tissue destruction (including cartilage and epithelial tissue). In the elderly, it can help prevent osteoporosis.

People who smoke have a higher risk of heart failure

According to research conducted by the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, smokers are twice as likely as non-smokers to develop heart failure.

The researchers investigated the link between smoking and various types of heart failure.

The medical records of 9,000 Americans were examined for this purpose.

According to research, even after quitting smoking, people's risk of heart failure remains high for decades.

These findings, according to the researchers, highlight the importance of quitting smoking.

Heart failure is a condition in which the heart is unable to pump blood in response to the body's needs, raising the risk of complications and death.

In addition to smoking, other risk factors for heart failure include obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes, and coronary heart disease.

The study examined the health of people whose data was examined for 13 years, during which time 1,215 out of 9,000 people were diagnosed with heart failure.

Researchers discovered that smokers are 2.28 times more likely to suffer from heart failure.

Research has stated that daily cigarette consumption increases the risk of heart failure.

According to him, when the data of people who had quit smoking for many years were analyzed, it was discovered that their risk of heart failure is also extremely high.

However, after more than thirty years of abstinence, the risk is comparable to that of the average individual.

The findings were published in the medical journal Journal of the American College of Cardiology.

Vitamin D deficiency might impair your fertility.

A number of health advantages have been attributed to vitamin D.

Most people aren't aware that low vitamin D levels might make it difficult to conceive.
What's the link between vitamin D and conceiving?

A variety of health advantages have been attributed to vitamin D. In women who are trying to conceive, it appears to be connected to increased fertility and a better pregnancy.

Vitamin D and natural fertility, as well as its usefulness during fertility therapy, has received conflicting reviews. Vitamin D insufficiency has been associated to greater success rates in both IVF and the transfer of frozen donor egg embryos in some studies. Other studies haven't found a correlation between the two.

Several studies have revealed that women with Vitamin D blood levels of 30ng/ml have a higher rate of conception than those with lower levels, despite the fact that the data on vitamin D and fertility is unclear.

According to studies, women with adequate Vitamin D levels are four times more likely than those with low levels to conceive with IVF.

Is vitamin D also necessary during pregnancy?

A normal vitamin D level has been found to improve fertility as well as the odds of having a healthy pregnancy. In research, vitamin D insufficiency during pregnancy has been linked to preterm birth, gestational diabetes, preeclampsia (very high blood pressure during pregnancy), and bacterial vaginosis. Taking a vitamin D supplement when pregnant benefits both the mother and the baby.

Supplementing with Vitamin D for Fertility
If you're attempting to conceive or have already done so, you should make sure you're getting enough Vitamin D. One of the best sources of Vitamin D is the sun, and obtaining at least 20 minutes of sun exposure per day is an excellent method to improve your levels.

Nutritional supplements can be a valuable addition to your fertility treatment, but they are not a substitute for fertility testing and care.

Beetroot juice is useful for heart patients, research

Drinking a glass of beetroot juice daily helps reduce the harmful inflammation in people with coronary heart disease.

Cardiovascular disease is the most common type of heart disease and is considered to be the leading cause of death worldwide.

Nitric oxide is important for good health as it plays a role in controlling blood pressure.

People with this disease have lower levels of nitric acid in their body.

Nitric oxide is important for good health as it plays a role in controlling blood pressure.

Research from Queen Mary University has shown that edema is important for protecting the body from any injury or disease, but in people with coronary heart disease, the edema persists, affecting more arteries. And increases the risk of heart attack.

Researchers say that research indicates that drinking a glass of beetroot juice daily provides nitric oxide to the body which reduces inflammation.

Beetroot contains a lot of nitrate which is converted into nitric acid in the body.

The study included 114 healthy people, 78 of whom were given a typhoid vaccine, which temporarily caused a swelling in the arteries, while another 36 developed a skin swelling with a cream.

These individuals were then given 140 ml of beetroot juice every morning for 7 days, but 50% of the volunteers had high levels of nitrate in their beverages, while nitrate was excluded from the remaining 50%.

The results showed that people who drank nitrate-rich beverages had significantly higher levels of nitric oxide in their blood compared to other groups.

Nitrate juice also increased the number of cells helping to regulate the functioning of the coronary arteries.

The researchers said that the results indicate that this juice may be beneficial for millions of people suffering from coronary heart disease.

Experts are now planning a clinical trial on a diet high in nitrates to confirm current findings.

Things You Shouldn't Keep in the Fridge

Most foods are safe to keep in the refrigerator because keeping food in the refrigerator prevents bacteria from growing on them quickly, reducing the risk of food poisoning.

However, some ordinary items are better stored at room temperature rather than in the refrigerator; global experts advise us which items should not be kept in the refrigerator; do let us know.

Tomatoes, which are high in vitamin C, potassium, and other nutrients, keep well at room temperature, especially if used within a day or two.

Potatoes should never be kept in the refrigerator. As a result, their starch quickly converts to sugar, and when they're fried, they emit a cancer-causing toxin.

Coffee cans are commonly kept in the refrigerator, although this is not the best location for them. It's best to keep it in a box and keep it somewhere dark.

If you've ever kept bananas in the refrigerator, you'll know that they turn a different colour when exposed to the cold. At room temperature, bananas ripen quickly, but refrigerating them slows down the process. Furthermore, bananas emit a gas that causes other fruits to ripen, so bananas are ripe from other fruits as well. Keep your distance.

Although keeping double bread in the fridge will not cause mildew, the taste will fade as the double bread dries out and loses its flavour. Double bread can usually be stored at room temperature for two days. However, it lasts longer than a week in the refrigerator.

Before peeling or chopping onions, keep them in a dry and light place. It can spoil quickly if the area isn't well ventilated. Peeled or chopped onions, on the other hand, should be kept in the fridge and used as soon as possible. Fresh garlic should be kept at room temperature as well.

Honey should be kept in a dark, out of the sun place; if kept in the fridge, it will freeze and become difficult to use.

The Five Second Rule: Should We Really Follow It? The scientists' answer

According to this theory, you can eat anything that has fallen to the ground as long as it hasn't been lying for more than five seconds. Scientists have made the decision to finally address this principle.

For some, the five-second rule is incredible, while for others, it is routine. It's about food that's come into contact with the floor; if we pick it up at a certain time, the bacteria won't pass on to the food, and we'll be safe. Experts refute this bold and popular Internet thesis.

The five-second rule—where did it come from?

The principle of consenting to eat food that has fallen to us has no specific and well-documented origin. Is it, however, really safe to eat food that has only been on the floor for five seconds?

Dr. Paul Dawson, a professor of food sciences at Clemson University and co-author of the book "Did You Just Eat That?" on food safety, conducted advanced research on this theory. Dawson wanted to see if the length of time the food is exposed to the contaminated surface affects the rate at which bacteria are transferred to the food.

He said, “To find out, we injected salmonella into tile, carpet, and wood squares. We counted how many bacteria were on the sausage and bread after five minutes by putting them on each surface for five, thirty, or sixty seconds. Then we repeated the process for two hours, four hours, eight hours, and twenty-four hours.”

The study's conclusions  and results were published in The Journal of Applied Microbiology .

Stay active as you age to prevent paralysis

According to a study conducted in California, passive activity in old age increases the risk of stroke in the elderly by 14%. In other words, both physical activity and inactivity can increase the risk of contracting this disease.

According to a study conducted by a university in the United States, those who spend more than 13 hours per day sitting are more likely to develop cardiovascular disease than those who spend less than 11 hours per day sitting. Spending more money increases the likelihood of having a stroke.

In contrast, 25 minutes of exercise per day reduced the risk of stroke by over 40 percent.

Studies have shown that laziness can lead to a buildup of fat in the arteries, which increases the risk of heart disease.
By reducing cholesterol, blood pressure, and fat, physical activity reduces the risk of stroke.

An average of 63-year-old men and women in the United States have motion tracking devices installed by experts at the University of San Diego in the state of California.

Participants in the study were required to wear an accelerometer on their backs for a week, which measured the frequency and intensity of their movement.

They were required to wear the device for 16 hours per day, but were permitted to remove it while sleeping.

The results were measured in the hours following a period of inactivity, light exercise, such as walking around the house, or moderate exercise, such as cycling. ۔

Inactive activities include long periods of sitting, lying down, or standing.

Seven years later, researchers analysed their medical records and determined that those who were sedentary for more than 13 hours per day had a greater risk of stroke.
