Samsung is about to release a major update that will make Galaxy smartphones even faster.

Samsung has unveiled a significant new feature for its Galaxy smartphones. Smartphones should become even faster after the update to One UI 5.0.

Samsung's custom Android interface, One UI 5.0, is the latest major update. Later this year, Samsung will release the new version alongside Android 13.

Samsung hasn't given any specifics about One UI 5.0 yet, but there are some early hints as to what to expect. The user interface's animation speed, for example, should be significantly improved.

UI acceleration is one of the top priorities for Samsung's One UI 5.0 project, which is currently in full swing. Furthermore, the animations should be optimized for smoother and faster playback.

Samsung is expected to reveal all of the new features in One UI 5.0 at the Samsung Developers Conference later this year. In October of last year, SDC 2021 was held, and the One UI 4.0 beta was released shortly after.

Samsung is expected to release One UI 5.0 on a similar schedule this year. We can expect the beta to be released in the weeks following the announcement at SDC 2022.

Samsung Galaxy A53 :the iconic smartphone brand keeps improving.

Samsung hopes to build on the success of previous mid-range smartphones with the Galaxy A53.

Source: Samsung

The Galaxy A50, A51, and A52 have been very successful and popular.
I'll tell you what you can anticipate from the Galaxy A53.

The Samsung Galaxy A53 has impressed me with vivid display, long battery life, solid software, and long update policy. Anyone who purchases this smartphone will get the update for next. These will enable you to use the smartphone without any limitations.

Currently, there are two issues that will hopefully be fixed over time. The performance isn't quite where it should be. Furthermore, the 449 euro price is excessive

Only little "improvements" have been made in comparison to its predecessor. It's still a plastic-based smartphone. One could have expected a little more for the rather premium price. It was also possible that the frame was made of metal.

In general, I think the new frame, which now stops precisely at the rear, is a great upgrade. This makes holding the Galaxy A53 much more enjoyable. Unlike its predecessors, the back can no longer be damaged as easily, giving it a higher-quality feel.

The Samsung Galaxy A53 is dust and water resistant thanks to its IP67 certification.

The display is noticeably brighter.

The 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display, which can reach 800 nits of brightness, drew my attention immediately. Outside, you could read the predecessor's display, but thanks to the Galaxy A53's greater brightness, it's even simpler. Even if the sun shines directly on the display, everything is visible:

The Samsung Galaxy A53 now has a 120Hz refresh rate as standard. This should ensure that the display runs smoothly.

The fingerprint sensor is integrated into the screen. This is significantly too deep, as is typical of optical fingerprint sensors in screens. This makes it unnecessarily complex to handle. The finger recognition is satisfactory. A small tip: save the fingers twice, and it will work even better. The fingerprints should be saved again after applying a protective coating.

On the Samsung Galaxy A53, you won't find a 3.5 mm jack.

Samsung has installed two speakers, much like the predecessor. The sound quality is excellent. There isn't much bass, but that's to be expected from a smartphone. The 3.5mm jack has been removed from the device. Only USB-C or Bluetooth can be used to connect headphones. Speaking of doing without, there is no power adapter included in the box, no protective film on the display, and you must choose whether to use two SIM cards or one SIM card and a microSD card.

Performance must improve.

In the test, the Samsung Galaxy A53 did not perform as well as expected. In the future, a software update should resolve the issue.

I'm not sure what's happening, but the Samsung Galaxy A53 isn't running as smoothly as it used to. Despite the fact that you have a powerful processor, plenty of RAM, and a 120 Hz display, tiny delays are the norm.

Otherwise, the Galaxy A53 comes with standard Samsung software. It comes with Android 12 and One UI 4.1 preloaded. This gives you a wide range of functionality and customization choices, allowing you to tailor your phone to your own requirements.

Unrivaled update assurance
You won't have to worry for five years if you get a Samsung smartphone like the Galaxy A53. As long as Samsung continues to give updates. In addition, there will be four additional Android versions. As a result, Android 13, 14, 15, and 16 are available. Getting anything like that in the middle of the price range is a huge plus. Smartphones are being used for longer and longer periods of time because they are just more reliable. Samsung contributes to the cell phone's ability to be utilised for as long as feasible without posing any security threats due to obsolete software.

A cutting-edge camera

The camera of the Samsung Galaxy A53 made a good impression.

In favourable lighting situations, the Samsung Galaxy A53, like its predecessor, shoots decent images.

A 64-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilisation is included. This results in some extremely nice photographs.

In low-light situations, you'll need to keep your smartphone steady for an extended period of time to get a good shot. Because the zoom only works digitally, it should not be utilised excessively. The image quality is still acceptable at four times. Even in good light, a 10x magnification produces a muck rather than a clear image. A true telephoto lens isn't present.

A 12 MP super wide angle lens is also included. Overall, the photos were also rather good. The edges are occasionally very fuzzy. I couldn't figure out why this was happening. If you don't double-check your photos after they've been taken, you'll be annoyed later if there are image errors. The third and fourth sensors are a depth and macro camera with a resolution of 5 MP each. They're basically superfluous. It would have been ideal to have integrated a telephoto lens.

The video quality is likewise okay. Videos can be recorded in 4K at 30 frames per second. However, I would recommend shooting in Full HD at 60 frames per second, as the content will appear more realistic - especially when photographing moving objects. The image stabilisation is excellent, and you can zoom in and out with ease while filming.

The battery life is adequate, but it might be better.

Because the Galaxy A53 has a larger 5,000 mAh battery, I was expecting the battery life to be substantially better than the predecessor. But I didn't pay attention to it. The battery life is adequate, but it might be better.

With the 120Hz display active and normal use of the phone, I received almost two days of battery life. I breezed through the day with heavy use. You can go for more than two days if you use your phone sparingly. The duration of the exhibition was seven to eight hours. With 60 Hz, you could probably accomplish more.

To be honest, I was hoping for a little more. When the Galaxy A53 is turned off, it drains a lot of energy. You will lose an exceptional amount of battery if you do nothing with it. That isn't particularly dramatic, and you don't notice it when you use the phone, but I also left it for two days and found that 40% of the battery was vanished. It's very possible that a software update will fix the issue.

Up to 25 watts of power can be used to charge the smartphone. However, you must have or purchase a power supply unit. In roughly 1.5 hours, the battery is fully charged again. That's OK. Wireless charging is not possible for the smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy S22 is a small, light, but also efficient and solidly made phone.

Samsung Galaxy S22 is a small, light, but also efficient and solidly made phone.  One of my colleagues bought it few days ago. This gave me a chance to explore and see the design and performance of the Galaxy S22.

This elegant smartphone comes with a waterproof casing, a very good AMOLED screen and a functional camera

The Samsung Exynos 2200 chipset used in the device is an efficient and technically advanced design. It has new Xclipse GPU which is based on AMD RDNA2 architecture because this it delivers realistic and immerse visuals when you play mobile games.  The good thing about this GPU is that comes with variable rate shading technology. This technology helps in optimizing the GPU workload.

I think it is a powerful octa-core CPU with tri-cluster architecture that gives the Galaxy S22 powerful computing power. This power will enable you play your games do multitasking and faster rendering of game videos.

The Galaxy S22 received an even smaller battery than the older Galaxy S21 5G. 3700 mAh is not the capacity that allows him to become a multimedia long-distance runner;

The new Galaxy S22 is compact, but with a back panel made of frosted Gorilla Glass Victus + glass, with a much wider, more angular, metal frame and a similar-looking, slightly more powerful metal section of the main camera than in its predecessor.

One thing is certain - Galaxy S22 is a neat, light and small phone by current standards, with a solid, elegant and waterproof casing ( IP68 certified ).

The Galaxy S22 model is available in Phantom white, Phantom black, Pink Gold and green colors.

Samsung's flagship smartphones will never disappoint you in the screen. This time it is a flat, 6.1-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel, 120 Hz , with FHD + class resolution (1080 x 2340 pixels), and the image displayed on it turns out to be attractive to the eye and well readable outside.

The breathtaking 120Hz Infinity-O Display is made of Dynamic AMOLED 2X with Vision Booster technology for excellent outdoor visibility in both strong daylight and low light.

The display surface is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus + . The slim, symmetrical screen frames also deserve stylistic praise. It is clear that Samsung engineers tried to refine every, even the smallest detail, maybe ... except for the still present front camera hole. Under the surface of the display, there is an ultrasonic fingerprint reader that is obligatory for the Galaxy S series .

The buttons controlling the operation of the smartphone (switch and volume control) can be found on the right side of the frame. Both are well felt under the finger. The switch is located at a very comfortable height - the finger literally hits it on its own.

In the photo above you can see the indentation between the bezel and the camera section. It can therefore be assumed that this time we are no longer dealing with an aluminum monolith (camera frame and section), as in the Galaxy S21, but with an additional housing element. Such a solution is certainly technologically easier, and therefore also cheaper. Visually, however, it still defends well.

At the top of the Galaxy S22 frame, the manufacturer only placed an additional microphone hole. All the other elements have gone to the bottom of the frame. We will find there: the main speaker (the second pair from the stereo set plays sound through the earpiece speaker slot), a USB 3.2 type C socket (the smartphone still supports the wired DeX mode ) and a SIM card tray that houses two Nano SIM modules (we can also use a virtual eSIM card) .

The stereo audio system used is a classic design with a full-range lower and upper transducer reproducing mainly the treble and the middle of the acoustic band through the handset loudspeaker slot.

The sound is loud, and the stereo effects are quite noticeable (although you can also notice a slight dominance of the lower speaker). In games and when watching movies, there is no problem, but the music sounds from the Galaxy S22 speakers at times a bit too harsh and aggressive

Samsung does not spoil us once again with standard smartphone equipment. In the slim box we only find a card drawer ejector and a USB cable. We have to organize a wall charger and all other accessories (case, headphones) on our own.

Samsung Galaxy S22 - technical specification, performance, battery

In the European Galaxy S22 series, the heart of the smartphone is the 4-nanometer Samsung Exynos 2200 chipset . Inside there is an octa-core processor (1x Cortex-X2 3 GHz + 3x Cortex-A710 2.7 GHz + 4x Cortex-A510 1.7 GHz) and the proprietary Xclipse 920 graphics chip. They are supported by 8 GB of RAM (LPDDR5) and depending on from edition 128 GB or 256 GB of memory for data (UFS 3.1). The smartphone also includes: a 5G modem, a fast Wi-Fi 6 card, a modern Bluetooth 5.2 module and an NFC module.

The smartphone works under the control of Android 12 , the functionality of which is complemented by the company 's One UI in version 4.1 . I must admit that Samsung is probably the manufacturer that most frequently provides software updates for its devices. During the test, the smartphone reported the will to install them three times and had the current level of security patches (April 2022). This is how the main screens of the One UI 4.1 interface look like.

In the table below you will find the detailed specification of the Galaxy S22 and obligatorily, for easy comparison of the parameters of the older Galaxy S21. Just in case, I also put in it, with a slightly larger screen (6.4 inches), the sister Galaxy S21 FE, which some people may consider a good price alternative to the Galaxy S22.

In everyday use, the Galaxy S22 efficiently responds to all commands, smoothly starts and switches between applications, and has no problems with handling more demanding games
