Kate and William: 11 of marriage and the betrayal hypothesis

On April 29, 2011 Kate Middleton and William got married in what was perhaps one of the most followed ceremonies, and broadcast to the whole world in worldwide. For 11 years, theirs was a dream wedding, but there were some shocks regarding an alleged betrayal against the Duchess.

Kate and William: marriage and betrayal

After the sumptuous royal wedding broadcast worldwide on April 29, 2011, Kate Middleton and Prince William have formed a splendid family thanks to the arrival of their three children. The only blemish on an otherwise perfect marriage (at least in appearance) would have been the alleged rapprochement between the Duke of Cambridge and another woman, the Marquise of Cholmondeley , Rose Hanbury , who is also a former model. Always close to the life of the Court, Rose Cholmondeley is a close friend of the duke and his family.

Their children grew up together and she and her husband would participate in numerous events related to the Royal family (and vice versa). During one of these Kate Middleton would have been seen arguing animatedly with William and, according to the hypotheses, it would have been the proximity of the duke to Rose to unleash the wrath of the duchess. Kate at the time was pregnant with her third child and, according to rumors of her, by her will Rose Cholmondeley would slowly disappear from the radar of court life.

Kate and William: Life at Court

Despite the hypotheses regarding the alleged betrayal, Kate and William have always maintained the appearance of a united and stable couple and many wonder what the life of the two will be like when he will be the new ruler of England.

Vitamins of group B: where they are found in the diet and what happens if we are deficient

In recent years there has been an increasing attention to the health aspects of nutrition and to the functional effects that different nutrients can exert on the organism. In the context of the new "food patterns", the role of micronutrients, such as vitamins and mineral salts, remains fundamental.

Vitamins are essential substances for survival : they contribute to the production of red blood cells, to the maintenance of immune defenses, to the good health of the nervous structures and to the energy metabolism. The B vitamins, in particular, play a fundamental role in the functioning of the nervous system (B1, B3, B6, B12, folic acid), the immune system (B6, B12) and energy metabolism, as well as to maintain balance some functions of the organism such as the growth and integrity of skin and mucous membranes.

As water- soluble vitamins , that is to say they dissolve in water, the B vitamins cannot be accumulated by the body but must be taken daily through food. However, there are conditions that make it difficult to reach the daily requirement.

Hence the possibility of taking supplements, always after talking to the doctor. Vitamin B and B12 supplements in orodispersible films are the new frontier in oral delivery systems developed with IBSA FilmTec ™ technology. Made up of a flexible and ultra-thin sheet of the size of a postage stamp (50-150 microns thick), the new patented formulation has the advantage of dissolving rapidly in contact with saliva, ensuring a precise and uniform concentration of the active ingredients and facilitating the at the same time taking supplements under any circumstances and under different conditions.

We asked Dr. Lucilla Titta , Nutritionist and Researcher at the European Institute of Oncology (IEO) in Milan, to explain why B vitamins are particularly important and what is the correct diet to take them.

Why are B vitamins and their function important?

B vitamins play an essential role in the functioning of the nervous system (B1, B3, B6, B12, folic acid ), the immune system (B6, B12 ) and energy metabolism, as well as maintaining some body functions in balance such as the growth and integrity of skin and mucous membranes.

What are the most important B vitamins for women?

It is important to reach the daily requirement of all the B vitamins, however particular attention should be paid to the consumption of folate, in particular to vitamin B9 which has a fundamental role in the growth and reproduction of cells and for the formation of the central nervous system in embryo and fetus. Furthermore, vitamin B9 intervenes in the transformation of tryptophan into the neurotransmitter serotonin, in the synthesis of DNA and in the metabolism of amino acids.

What foods are they found in?

Foods rich in vitamin B6 are cereals, nuts, potatoes, peas, lentils, green leafy vegetables. Vitamin B9 is present in many green leafy vegetables such as spinach, lettuce, broccoli, asparagus, but also in oranges, legumes and cereals. Vitamin B12 is present in all foods of animal origin, even in minimal quantities. In particular, it is found in meat, fish, liver, milk, eggs. In nature there are no plants or vegetables that contain quantities of vitamin B12 capable of satisfying the daily needs of humans.

Is there a difference between a woman of childbearing age and a woman in menopause in the assimilation of vitamin B?

Already after the age of fifty the organism undergoes a progressive atrophy of the gastric mucosa which can lead to a malabsorption of vitamin B12, therefore the simple progress of age can represent a risk factor for the deficiency of this vitamin. While with regard to women of childbearing age, there is now numerous scientific evidence on the need to support the need for vitamin B9, better known as folic acid, both before and during pregnancy. This vitamin is, in fact, essential for the development of the child's nervous system, prevents anemia  and neural tube defects (spina bifida) and reduces the risk of congenital heart disease.

Let's go towards the summer: what should we pay attention to?

Summer offers many occasions for the consumption of fresh and raw vegetables that well preserve their content of water-soluble vitamins, such as the B vitamins, otherwise easily dispersed in cooking.

What are the symptoms of a possible deficiency?

The symptoms can be the most diverse: small cuts on the sides of the mouth, dry skin, hair weakness, fatigue and cramps up to neurological disorders. It is therefore essential, depending on age and type of diet, to consult your doctor for the dosage of vitamins in the blood and thus identify any deficiencies.

In addition to nutrition, how can we supplement the B vitamins?

Through the use of food supplements recommended by your doctor or nutritionist.

Tom Cruise unveils the title of Mission: Impossible 7. And the trailer is there but not seen

With the pandemic, making a film and bringing it to theaters has become a mission impossible . After numerous postponements , however, Mission Impossible 7 has a new launch date, even if not just around the corner: the theatrical release is in fact set for July 2023, in more than a year. And in addition to having a date, now finally the film has an official name, that is Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part 1 .

It was revealed by Tom Cruise through a video message broadcast on the occasion of CinemaCon, an industry event held in Los Angeles where film studios come together to show projects in progress and those ready for debut. The emphasis falls not so much on the "showdown", as on that "part 1", which refers to the eighth film in the series, whose filming is busy right now Cruise: the release is scheduled for 2024. The title, barring surprises, should therefore be in this case Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part 2.

A trailer for Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part 1 was also screened in the frame of CinemaCon , but at the moment it has not yet been released online : and therefore we must be content with the description of who has had the opportunity to see it. In the first scene there is the protagonist Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise, in fact) on a plane flying over a canyon in South Africa. The scene is accompanied by a mysterious voice that admonishes: " Your days of struggle for the greater good are over. You have to choose which side you are on".

Ethan Hunt, therefore, will be called upon to make a strong ethical choice. The other actors besides Cruise who appear on screen during the trailer are Ving Rhames, Rebecca Ferguson (with a blindfold covering one eye), Henry Czerny (a return from the first Mission: Impossible) and Vanessa Kirby.

The trailer, as we can imagine, is all about the spectacular action, which is the fundamental figure of the saga: daring escapes on foot, chases by motorbike but also (for the first time) on horseback, blows from orbi on running trains and the already famous stunt scene in which Cruise launches a Norway motorcycle off a cliff: a sequence that the actor called " by far the most dangerous thing I've done in my life ".

The MQ-9 Reaper drones that the Polish Army wants to buy will be even more effective against ships

It is not without reason that we are currently paying special attention to the MQ-9 Reaper drones by General Atomics, because in February we learned that the Polish Army wants to purchase these American UCAV (Unmanned Air Combat Systems). We still have to wait for the details of this purchase and although we do not know if it will not be left only on paper, it is still worth following how these "Reapers" are developing, who can now fly with modern Seaspray 7500E V2 radars from Leonardo.

Seaspray 7500E V2 radars have been successfully tested on board the MQ-9 Reaper drones

General Atomics Aeronautical announced that the first flight of the MQ-9A Reaper Block 5 drones took place on April 14, after integration with Leonardo Seaspray 7500E V2 radar stations. Thanks to them, drones have even better capabilities in the field of patrol and reconnaissance over sea areas, because they can detect enemy ships further (up to 592 km), with greater precision and in a much higher number.

This radar is the largest and most efficient in the Sea Spray AESA family and is not so much a separate model as an upgrade to the proven 7500E. It is equipped with modernized technology to meet the changing requirements of reconnaissance, observation and reconnaissance missions in the aquatic environment. No wonder the plans also include integrating this radar with the MQ-9B SeaGuardian..

As we wrote earlier, the MQ-9 A Reaper drone is a cult and well-known UCAV all over the world, the history of which dates back to 1998. Its tasks include, above all, the implementation of reconnaissance and intelligence missions thanks to its advanced observation systems.

Of course, however, it was not the observation systems that made him hit the headlines more than once, because it owes its impressive capacity to carry over 1000 kilograms of weapons suspended on a total of seven underwing knots, such as laser-guided bombs or missiles of all kinds.

The maximum speed of 482 km / h and the range of 5,900 km is also impressive, with the possibility of entering a ceiling of 15,200 meters and staying in flight for up to 28 hours. These features clearly show the great strategic potential of this combat drone, which the crews of ships belonging to the group of potential enemies of the US should now fear more. Example? China, whose fleet is growing every month, or Russia, because it's ... Russia

Oppo's fast charging technology : SUPERVOOC TM system

Smartphone manufacturers have reached the proverbial wall in terms of battery capacity. For now, it is impossible to "squeeze" more from them without increasing their dimensions. However, everything indicates that the battery capacity is no longer crucial. Loading speed turns out to be more important. One of the pioneers in fast charging technology is OPPO. Let's take a look at its achievements.

OPPO introduced fast charging technology in 2014 as one of the first smartphone manufacturers in the world. This solution first appeared in more expensive, flagship smartphones, and over time it became more affordable - for example in the latest Reno7 series. These visually attractive smartphones, although offered much cheaper than flagships, also have a really fast charging system. With 65 W of power, their batteries can be refilled in just half an hour. It is worth adding that, as in the case of other models, OPPO adds chargers to the kits, allowing you to take full advantage of SUPERVOOC TM . If we add bright and clear displays, high-quality cameras or an efficient interior - we get an exceptionally attractive whole.

The fast SUPERVOOC TM system, created and patented by OPPO, has already lived for several next generations, it has also found its way into smartphones from over twenty other brands. Charging technologies developed by OPPO have also been recognized by DXOMARK . The Oppo Reno 6 5G smartphone took the first place in the global DXOMARK ranking in the "best battery" category. Battery performance was assessed taking into account three factors - charging, performance and battery life.

Data from November 2021 shows that 220 million users already use OPPO fast charging technology. Why is this solution so willingly used?

Do you want to delete your data from Google search?

Google has expanded the scope of data that can be requested to be removed from a search engine to protect your privacy. Until now, it was mainly the removal of public login information for banks or payment card numbers, now the list of options is longer.

You can read about the details of the changes on the Google Blog . The manufacturer states that users have long been able to request the removal of their sensitive data from the search engine , the use of which by third parties could be harmful. Google emphasizes that it is aware of the development of online activities, and therefore expands the list of data for which deletion can be requested (although, as a rule, this is contrary to the idea of the search engine, which should give access to all information on the Internet).

Google states that currently you can additionally ask, among others o  removing a publicly available telephone number, home address or e-mail address. All stages of this process are described in detail in the documentation . Previously, this option was available mainly in the case of doxing - sharing contact information in a malicious way.

Currently, Google is willing to consider requests to remove from the search engine, among others PESEL number, photos of handwritten signatures, images of identity documents, medical records or confidential login details . It is worth noting that each request to delete such data is the start of a new verification process, which may require Google to collect additional information, which will certainly translate into the implementation time.

Meghan Markle is obsessed with fame: she wanted to be the Windsor response to Angelina Jolie

The popular writer Tina Brown, who is famous all over the world for books about the life of Princess Diana, has set herself the goal of revealing the secrets of the royal family in her latest book "Palace Stories".

Tina Brown talked to over 120 people who know the royal family well. The interviewees provided the author with a lot of materials for the book.

From their statements, the writer learned, among other things, that Queen Elizabeth II considered her heir to the throne, Prince Charles , as "too sensitive, too emotional, too complicated and too egocentric" to take the throne.

It is said that even Prince Philip considered himself not the best material for a king. The author also revealed that Prince Charles is so demanding that he even took his toilet seat and bed during his travels. Often, a day before his arrival at his destination, a van with furniture pulled up in front of the house, from which equipment and even a few paintings were unloaded. His teddy bear also travels with him in a special plastic travel bag.

Meghan Markle wanted to be the royal Angelina Jolie

In "Palace Stories", readers will also learn about the background of Meghan Markle and Harry's wedding. According to the author, Prince Charles' son accelerated the wedding with his beloved, despite his brother's fears. The decision was reportedly dictated by a desire to gain personal protection. On her wedding day, Meghan Markle wanted to wear a royal diadem that the queen herself was supposed to lend her. The palace, however, refused Harry's future wife. He panicked and she yelled at the staff.

Tina Brown describes Meghan's "willful blindness to institutional royal culture". The American actress believed that the British monarch needed her more than the royal family. It has become a ticking time bomb.

Harry's behavior was to arouse great anxiety among his relatives, who looked at him as "mentally unstable, still terrified by the death of his mother and prone to outbursts of anger". Meanwhile, tensions between Meghan Markle and the royal family grew.

The life of the royal family described in "Palace Stories" is shown in gloomy colors. The author also talks about "endlessly boring public appearances and gloomy vacations in drafty castles." Kate fitted in fairly quickly, but Meghan had more ambitions.

Swollen eyes are a common complaint. What are the causes of eyelid edema?

Swollen eyes are a condition that can have many different causes. Swollen eyes, red and swollen eyelids are usually the first symptom of an allergy, but they can also indicate serious diseases, not only of the eyes. What are the causes of swollen eyes?

Swollen eyes are a multi-factorial condition. The most common causes of eyelid edema are allergic diseases. Swollen eyes can also be a symptom of numerous eye diseases, as well as general diseases such as heart rhythm disturbances , hyperthyroidism , diabetes and sinusitis .

Swollen eyes: a local allergic reaction

If you experience pale flesh-colored swelling of the eyes, in addition to itching, it may be assumed that the cause of the swollen eyes is a local allergic reaction.

Swollen eyes: eye inflammation

Inflammation of the eyelid margins is a disease that manifests as itching, burning, redness and ulceration of the edges of the eyelids. The swelling of the eyes is also accompanied by lacrimation.

Chromium , or chronic inflammation of the thyroid gland, is characterized by local redness and pain in only one eyelid. Painless swelling of the eye appears at a distance from the edge of the eyelid.

Infective conjunctivitis - the symptoms of the disease are unilateral or bilateral swelling of the conjunctiva, redness (injection) of the conjunctiva, discharge (mucopurulent or purulent), sometimes enlargement of the parotid nodes.

Swollen eyes: ocular shingles

Ocular shingles is the type of shingles that affects the cornea of the eye. The symptoms of the disease are swelling of the eyelids, conjunctival vessels congestion, and corneal erosions and infiltrates. There is also severe pain in the eye.

Swollen eyes: eye barley

Barley on the eye is a bacterial disease whose symptoms are local redness and pain in only one eyelid. The disease also develops swelling of the eyelid margin, sometimes with purulent discharge.

Swollen eyes: insect bite

An insect bite can also cause swollen eyes. This is when itching and redness of the eyes appear, as well as lumps on the eyelids.

Swelling of the eyes: disturbances in the eye socket

Cavernous sinus thrombosis is a disease caused by clots in the veins in the brain and in the dural sinuses. Swollen eyes are only an accompanying symptom of the disease. The characteristic symptoms of the disease are exophthalmos, paralysis of eyeball mobility, drooping eyelid and reduced visual acuity. In addition, there is a fever and symptoms of sinusitis. Diagnosis of the disease is very rare.

Orbital inflammation is a disease that affects not only puffy eyes, but also exophthalmos and redness. There is also pain during eye movements and reduced visual acuity. Sometimes the disease is preceded by symptoms of infection (usually sinuses).

Pre-septal orbital inflammation presents with edema without protruding eyes, redness, sometimes pain in the eyes, and fever. Visual acuity and eye mobility are normal. The disease is usually preceded by symptoms of infection (most often local skin infection).

Swollen eyelids: a general allergic reaction

Swelling of the eyes, their itching, and extra-ocular allergic symptoms (e.g. hives, wheezing, runny nose) may indicate a general allergic reaction.
Swollen eyes: general conditions Overactive thyroid gland

Swollen eyes are just one of the many symptoms of an overproduction of thyroid hormone. In the course of the disease, there are also widened eyelid fissures, protruding eyes, disturbed eye mobility and dryness of the eye. The accompanying symptoms are tachycardia (increased heart rate), agitation, weight loss and poor heat tolerance (constant heat).

Limited use of smartphones is considered to be good for health

If the use of a smartphone is reduced to one hour, then positive people are formed.  Photo: File

Smartphones have become an integral part of our lives.  However, excessive use can have a detrimental effect on you by causing you psychological and physical confusion.  If the use of the phone is reduced then its immediate better effects are seen.

A report published in the Journal of Experimental Biology states that we spend an average of three hours a day looking at the phone.  These include chatting, email checking, video watching, social media posting and more.  Experts say that excessive use of smartphones can lead to obesity, lethargy, inactivity, neck pain and addiction.

That's why smartphones are useful on the one hand and can be a hassle on the other.  Dr. Julia of the University of Rohr in Germany and her colleagues conducted a survey in this regard.  She says that spending a day without a phone can be rewarding.  If this is not possible, try to reduce the phone usage time.

His team recruited more than 600 people and divided them into three groups.  One group gave up mobile phones for a whole week, another reduced usage by one hour a day, and a third group continued using phones without change.

All these people were questioned and questionnaires were also filled.  However, daily routines of life were also discussed.  Then a month later and four months later, questionnaires were filled out.  The questionnaires asked about exercise, smoking, stress or symptoms, anxiety and other factors.

The obvious effects were obvious.  Positive effects were seen on people who did not give up the phone completely but reduced it to one hour of use.  This means that if you use the phone indiscriminately, reduce the duration and start with one hour less.  This will have a positive effect on your personality.

The other important thing is that the positive effects of the personality of those who reduced the use of the phone for one hour lasted for a long time.  You do not have to stop using the phone altogether but reduce the usage time.

HP’s Victus Series : High Performance laptops for gamers at a cheap prices

No one has thought that one-day gaming laptops will be a reality. The fast development of technology has made it a reality.

HP’s Victus Series has made it possible that gamers can play their favorite games on their laptop too. The good news is that these gaming laptop from HP are available in a variety of configurations and at cheap prices.

HP has  presented a completely new line for gamers called Victus by HP. It is to be a cheaper alternative to models from the OMEN family, which have already gained recognition on the market. The first representative is Victus by HP 16, which is a cheap laptop for gamers, which shows that this type of proposals make sense.

Victus by HP 16 in its most powerful variant costs less. This is a clear difference, but you will only find out what exactly is hidden in this amount. Therefore, get to know the most important features of this laptop.

There is no shortage of computing power, and this is the most important thing in laptops for gamers

Victus by HP 16 primarily gives us the choice whether we are supporters of intel chips or whether we care more about AMD units. Regardless of the decision, we can count on strong proposals in the form of:

Intel Core i5-11400H
Intel Core i7-11800H
AMD Ryzen 5 5600H
AMD Ryzen 7 5800H
In this way, we should not worry about computing power. The situation is the same with graphics units, where the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 chip appears at the top. Such a set guarantees us a sufficiently high performance, which is fully enough to run the latest games. We are talking, of course, about high settings and a high frame rate. The icing on the cake in this is the possibility of further development of the laptop in the context of memory. Victus by HP 16 does not limit users from expanding SSDs (two slots) or RAM (also two slots). This is not so obvious today.

A super-fast display is also on board

Since we already know that we can count on high performance, now it is worth being able to admire it on the right screen. In this case, we are also talking about speed, but image refresh. Victus by HP 16 offers a large, because 16.1-inch IPS LCD panel, which presents the image at 144 Hz. All this has been covered with a matte surface, so even on sunny days we should not complain about limited visibility. However, if we want to use an external screen, we do not have to worry about any limitations. First of all, we can count on the HDMI connector in the 2.1 standard, as well as USB-C with support for DisplayPort 1.4.

What else is important in gaming laptops? Definitely connectivity. Today's games mainly require an internet connection, even if we are not talking about multiplayer titles. Therefore, it is essential to have high-speed connectivity. In this matter, the Victus by HP 16 also does not disappoint, because it offers the fastest Wi-Fi 6 standard (802.11ax). As if that was not enough, we also get the possibility of a wired connection to the Internet. There is an Ethernet connector (RJ45) on the edge. If necessary, we can also be sure that all Bluetooth accessories will be compatible thanks to the support of the latest 5.2 technology.

Thus, you can see perfectly well that a cheap laptop for gamers does not have to deter shortcomings in key areas of specification. High performance is ensured, as well as the ability to observe it in a high refresh rate of the image, as well as in a wide range of connectivity.

The Russians are attacking fiercely, but the Ukrainians are effectively in defending themselves.

The Russians are attacking fiercely, but the Ukrainians are effectively in defending themselves. Six attacks were repelled in Donetsk and Luhansk. Russians suffered heavy losses"

In the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, Ukrainian forces have repelled six enemy attacks in the past 24 hours, destroying  five tanks, one artillery system and 22 armored vehicles, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said in a statement posted on Facebook on Thursday morning.

The Ukrainian command, “During the previous day, missile units of the Air Force and Land Forces hit eight air targets: one aircraft, one cruise missile and six unmanned aerial vehicles.”

The Russians have intensified their shelling
At the same time, Russians are increasing the pace of the offensive operation and is conducting intensive fire in almost all directions of operations.

Four EU countries pay for gas in rubles? One of them has already

Vladimir Putin signed a decree according to which payments for gas from Russia should be made in rubles. Moments later, the import of the raw material was completely stopped for Poland, Bulgaria and Lithuania. According to unofficial findings from Bloomberg, four countries agreed to the Kremlin's terms under pressure. 10 others were to set up special accounts with Gazprombank. One of the capitals mentioned has already officially denied it.

Poland has imposed sanctions on 50 oligarchs and economic entities, including Gazprom. Moreover, the government did not agree to pay the payment in rubles. Russia decided to turn off our gas tap

Gas blackmail was supposed to bring the expected effect. Bloomberg writes that four Western countries have agreed to pay the payments in rubles. 10 more were to set up accounts with Gazprombank

An unamed Gazprom official told Bloomberg that more countries may lose access to gas in the second half of May

It should be emphasized that these are unofficial reports

Unofficial: It is known when Vladimir Putin will shut off gas to other countries

Bloomberg cites an anonymous official linked to Gazprom . According to unofficial reports, Vladimir Putin will not cut off gas from other countries by the end of the first half of May .

Those who do not comply with the Kremlin's demands can say goodbye to deliveries. Finland and Slovakia are under particular pressure. Finland imports 94% of its gas from Russia while Slovakia imports 70%.

The country that officially agreed to pay for gas in rubles is Hungary. There is not even a shadow of a doubt that the government of Viktor Orbán immediately agreed to the terms of the Kremlin

According to reports from the pro-Kremlin TASS agency, Austria has agreed to pay in rubles. Chancellor Karl Nehammer  exposed himself to the Eastern European public by paying a visit to Vladimir Putin.

However, the representative of Vienna immediately denied the rumors presented by the Russian agency. - Austria continues to pay for Russian gas only in euro. We observe in detail the sanctions jointly agreed by the European Union, assured Chancellor Nehammer.

Russia's gas blackmail is Putin’s unsuccessful ploy. Poland and Lithuania were prepared

Let us explain that gas blackmail has affected Bulgaria in the first place . Lithuania has declared that it has not used Russian raw material since April, and Poland is said to be properly prepared to turn off the tap.

Germany reacted immediately to the situation. German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier met with the President of Slovakia, Zuzana Čaputova. At the same time, Chancellor Olaf Scholz received Mateusz Morawiecki . Both talks focused on the achievement by the EU of full independence from all Russian raw materials.

Why we get allergy?

Nowadays, more and more people are allergic. While it was still relatively rare a few decades ago, allergies are now considered a common disease. The WHO estimates that one in two people will be affected in 2025, and this problem is becoming more common among children. But why are we going to be allergic and what to do if we notice symptoms in ourselves? That's what we followed.

What is an allergy?

Allergy is an excessive reaction of the immune system to substances that do not provoke any response from the body in others. In this case, the body perceives the allergen as dangerous, so it begins to defend itself, which can cause inflammation and physical symptoms. Allergens can be pollen from flowers, and animal hair, but many people are allergic to certain foods and medicines.

The exact process of developing an allergic disease is not known. Unpleasant symptoms most commonly occur in the lower and upper respiratory tract, eyes, skin, or intestinal tract.

Nasal congestion, tearing and itching of the throat are common, and many also develop conjunctivitis. In our country, one in four to five people  is allergic to something, most of them suffer from ragweed that blooms from mid-July to October. The first pollens that cause allergies may appear as early as the end of February, and as the weather subsides, the concentration of pollen in the air increases.

At what age are allergies most common?
Allergies usually first appear in childhood, but there are some who only experience unpleasant symptoms in adulthood. Allergies that begin in childhood can usually outgrow, but the later a disease of this nature begins, the less chance it is of a full recovery.

Experts believe that the first thousand days in an infant's life also play an important role in allergies, as this is when our gut flora and immune system develop. If babies get the right nutrients in the first thousand days, we can reduce the chances of not only allergies but even diabetes.

Nutrition started at the age of four months can increase the chances of developing an allergy, but gradual familiarity with food should not be a problem. Moreover, experts say that gluten should be given early, as it also reduces the risk of developing allergies.

What can we do if we are allergic?
Although it is not yet possible to prevent allergies, we can reduce complaints. In addition to the use of special preparations such as eye drops and nasal sprays, experts also recommend that you only ventilate early in the morning or late at night during allergic periods. Nasal rinses with natural ingredients gently wash the nasal passages, remove allergens, and nasal sprays reduce symptoms and inflammation. In addition, it is worth choosing a preparation that nourishes and regenerates the nasal mucosa.

If you have a pollen allergy , stay outdoors as little as possible and throw the clothes you wear outside in the washing machine as soon as you get home. In the case of food allergies , avoid foods that cause allergies and look carefully for exactly what the foods we eat contain, as food allergies can cause a life-threatening reaction, called anaphylactic shock, in severe cases.

Symptoms depend on the type of allergen and the severity of the allergic reaction. Hay fever is one of the most common allergic symptoms, affecting about 10 to 30 percent of people worldwide. While hay fever causes nasal congestion, itchy eyes, and attacks the airways, food allergies occur in the gastrointestinal tract. In addition to bloating, diarrhea and abdominal pain, the most common symptoms associated with food allergies can sometimes include hives.

There are times when it is worth seeking medical help because of the excruciating symptoms of an allergy, as it can impair your quality of life in the long run. In case of anaphylactic shock, as mentioned above, a doctor should be consulted immediately, as it can even be fatal. It also hurts to be aware that without treatment, the symptoms of respiratory allergies will not go away.

Apple’s latest high-end processor M1

Without question, the fully developed M1 processor, now hitting tablets to laptops on Apple desktops, is a masterpiece. However, this has not been easy to accomplish, and the coronavirus outbreak has been a major challenge in the end.

Strict secrecy surrounded Apple's new processor, the chip called M1, which has since been slowly incorporated into everything from the iPad to MacBook laptops.

The M1 development team was headed by someone named Johny Srouji who had been designing his own iPhones processors for some time.

The success of Srouji lies in its ability to perfectly balance engineering and commercial needs.Srouji said the design of the M1 processor was a particular challenge, as they first had to clearly indicate that it would indeed make Apple products better.

There was an obvious need for their own processor, a further challenge was that they "had to see into the future", not just in terms of where the technology would go.

We can say that it went well, as the base M1 is also excellent for tablets and laptops, much more powerful than the M1 Max, which has been virtually doubled to come out with the amazingly powerful M1 Ultra.

What are the best natural laxatives?

You can buy a laxative in pharmacies without a prescription. In a few hours, it will relieve you of your constipation. But if you use laxatives too often, the balance of electrolytes and minerals in your body can be disturbed. Natural laxatives are a safe and inexpensive alternative. They are just as effective, but with minimal side effects. There is also a good chance that they are part of your daily diet.

Studies show that by increasing your fiber intake, you can increase the frequency of bowel movements and make stools softer, allowing them to move more easily through your intestines. Experts recommend that a person consuming an average of 2000 calories per day include 28 grams of fiber in their diet.

Choose fiber-rich foods

Some seeds: 28.4 grams of chia seeds contain 9.8 grams of fiber. Flax seeds contain omega-3 fatty acids, a large amount of protein and have a beneficial effect on constipation and diarrhea. 100 grams of flax seeds provide 27.3 grams of fiber.

Berries: 150 grams of blueberries contain 3.6 grams of fiber. Blackberries even provide 8 grams of fiber for the same serving.

Legumes (chickpeas, lentils, peas, and peanuts): By eating legumes, you can increase your body's production of butyric acid, a type of short-chain fatty acid. Butyric acid would help fight against constipation by promoting the movement of the digestive tract. Also, butyric acid reduces intestinal inflammation.

Leafy vegetables : In addition to being high in fiber, leafy vegetables are also high in magnesium.
Certain fruits : apples contain a particular type of fiber, pectin. Pectin speeds transit time through the colon and also acts as a prebiotic: it increases the amount of beneficial gut bacteria. Kiwis also contain pectin.

Rhubarb contains the compound sennoside A which has a number of powerful laxative properties. But probably the best-known fruit laxative is plums. It is very rich in fiber and also contains sorbitol, which has a laxative effect. Dried fruits also have laxative properties.

Whole grains such as brown rice, oats (bran) and wholemeal bread contain a lot of dietary fiber. For example, 94 grams of raw oat bran contains 14.5 grams of fiber.

Psyllium: This type of fiber retains large amounts of water to form a large, bulky mass of stool that moves more easily through the intestines. It is important to take psyllium with plenty of liquid to avoid blockage.

Other natural laxatives
Certain oils: castor oil contains an unsaturated fatty acid (ricinoleic acid) with a laxative effect. It is also believed that olive oil facilitates intestinal transit.
Magnesium citrate: This powerful natural laxative increases the amount of water in the intestinal tract. It is also better absorbed by the body than other forms of magnesium.

Kefir: This fermented dairy product contains probiotics. Probiotics have been shown to have a variety of health benefits, including better digestion and better bowel movement.

Coffee: Some people feel a greater urge to go to the bathroom when they consume caffeine. Caffeine is believed to shorten the passage time of substances through the digestive tract, although there is not enough scientific evidence for this. Coffee also contains water and magnesium, two ingredients known to act on transit.

Salt is essential for the body

Salt is essential for the body. Many bodily functions and metabolic processes can only be accomplished with the help of the small crystals. This includes regulating blood pressure and maintaining fluid balance. What everyone should know about salt.

Table salt consists of the minerals sodium and chloride - and has no calories. Among other things, sodium regulates the water balance, affects blood pressure and ensures the signal transmission of nerve and muscle cells. Thus, the mineral is also of great importance for the heart rhythm. Among other things, chloride is an important component of the digestive juices and is involved in the formation of gastric acid.

Sodium deficiency is particularly common in the elderly

Older people around the age of 70 often suffer from sodium deficiency. Their bodies react sensitively to fluctuations in the salt balance. In addition, they are often not very thirsty and many of them are less hungry - it is possible that too little of the mineral is being absorbed.

The consequences can be:

  1. dizziness
  2. nausea
  3. Vomit
  4. unsteady gait
  5. confusion
  6. memory disorders
Diseases associated with diarrhea, vomiting, and fever also attack the sodium stores in the body. Likewise, medications, including certain antihypertensives, rheumatism drugs and antidepressants. A blood test shows how the mineral supply is doing.

Salt can raise blood pressure
But not only too little salt can be critical. Too much also puts a strain on the body. The fact is, salt can raise blood pressure levels. While people who have low blood pressure can benefit from this effect, it can be critical for people with a tendency to have high blood pressure. Over the years, high blood pressure can damage important organs such as the heart, coronary arteries, brain, kidneys and blood vessels. Consequences include life-threatening illnesses such as heart attack or stroke . From a value of 140/90 mm Hg (millimetres of mercury column) the doctor speaks of high blood pressure (hypertension). The extent to which salt affects blood pressure is different for everyone. Salt in food increases blood pressure in some people, and they are known as salt sensitive. According to studies, up to 50 percent of hypertensive patients are sensitive to table salt. In other people, on the other hand, there is no significant effect of the mineral on blood pressure values.

Too much salt increases the risk of stomach cancer
Excessive salt consumption is also discussed in connection with stomach cancer. According to the Cancer Information Service (KID) of the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), heavily salted or cured foods seem to increase the risk of stomach cancer - regardless of whether it is salted or cured meat, fish or heavily salted vegetables. The explanation: table salt probably damages the gastric mucosa and thus contributes to inflammatory processes in the stomach.

How much salt does the body need?
Experts disagree on the amount of salt that is harmless. In order to be able to maintain the important bodily functions, a daily minimum salt intake of 1.4 grams applies. According to the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment ( BfR ), the body of an adult needs up to a maximum of six grams of table salt daily to cover the requirement. According to the German Society for Nutrition (DGE), it shouldn’t be more than six grams – that’s about a teaspoon of salt.

The World Health Organization ( WHO ) even specifies a daily maximum value of only five grams - according to the WHO, we consume around nine to twelve grams of salt every day in western countries. That equates to about one and a half to two teaspoons. Men consume more than women.
