Apple starts selling iPhone parts to fix the phone at home
Fixing mobile phones is not an easy job. But Apple is interested in facilitating part of the process.
On Wednesday, the manufacturer started selling parts to replace the iPhone's battery, display and other components.
The initiative is part of a program that provides tools for independently repairing iPhones.
The action is a result of the work of the Independent Repair Program. The initiative rose to a new level last year. At the moment only American consumers have access to this program.
Components are available for purchase from Self Service Repair Store. The store only serves the new 3rd generation iPhone SE, iPhone 12 and iPhone 13, including Mini, Pro and Pro Max
