The risk of heart attack and stroke has increased among Pakistani youth with diabetes

Medical research experts have revealed in their recent report that young and diabetic patients in Pakistan are at high risk of heart attack and stroke as the majority of them are not only obese but also suffer from smoking, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.

According to research presented at the third annual conference of the Pakistan Society of Internal Medicine in Karachi, the average age of new diabetic patients in Karachi is 30-35 years, the majority of whom are 77% obese.

According to the research, young and young diabetic patients were not only found to be suffering from uncontrolled diabetes or diabetes mellitus but also to have diabetes in their family which could lead to their early heart attack or stroke. The possibilities are very high.
